Kaipara Kai Feasibility Research
'Kaipara Kai Growing Larger' is a feasibility study commissioned by Kaipara District Council, carried out by Coriolis in April 2020. Looks at new opportunities in food production for the Kaipara District.
Topo-climate Research
'Current & Future Crop Suitability in the Kaipara District', commissioned by Kaipara District Council and carried out by NIWA, Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research and Plant & Food. This report is a more detailed look into the suitability of the chosen six crops showed that they present an opportunity to be grown and incorporated into cropping rotations with existing agricultural systems in the Kaipara District.

This report represents a joint project between Kaipara District Council, Far North District Council, NIWA, Land Research, Crop and Food Research and Horticulture Research to identify potential land use change in the Hokianga and western Kaipara region.
